Antique French 19th century faux bamboo mirror. Constructed out of the chestnut wood with faux bamboo trim decoration. The mirror plate is original and not beveled.
It is in the very good condition for its age. Measurements are: 36" W x 28" H x ( 33" h w/crown in the middle) x 2" D
Antique French Gold Leaf Gilt Louis Philippe Style Mirror with Crest. France 19th Century.
An antique 19th century French gold leaf gilt mirror. The mirror has an elaborate crest, and upper rounded corners typical of Louis Philippe mirrors. The frame is enriched with a beautiful ornate crest built on a central open C - cartouche motif flanked by acanthus and flowers and cross flame torches. A delicate pearl beading surrounds the original mirror glass. All in original condition, the gold leaf gilding is in almost perfect mint condition. The mirror also has its original silver nitrate silvered mirror glass and pine back cladding.
The mirror is in very good condition with no structural or exterior damages, ready to be hung on the wall.

An antique 19th century French painted mirror with printed image and text inserted on the top of the frame. Inscribed is VUES DE PARIS “ARC DE TRIOMPHE DE L’ETOILE” Pris au Daguerreotype, Publie Chamouin De La Harpe ,29. Mirror and frame all in original condition. There is a minor flake or imperfection on the frame. The mirror is in good condition for its age minor losses to the paint expecting with the age. Size : 16" W x 3" W x 29" H
