Wood and papier-mâché oblong octagon form tea caddy and has been lacquered and gilded with flora, fauna, and social settings accented with ivory. The lid opens to reveal two engraved double-lidded pewter containers, one for black tea, and the other for green tea. These China Export tea caddies, boxes and other decorative items were made for use in the West (England, Europe, or America). 9” Wide x 6” Deep x  5 ½”  High
