This bowl is an unusual size for an Art Glass bowl. It is a purple threaded bowl made by the well-known Bohemian glass maker Kralik. Before WWII, Bohemia was a part of Austria-Hungary. The best known Bohemian glassmakers were Loetz, Kralik, Rindskopf and Pallme-Konig. Kralik worked as a glass maker for numerous companies. Kralik produced many new designs and items working with Loetz Company. This is the reason the highest quality Kralik glass is marketed as Loetz. Kralik is also known as “Unsung hero of Art Nouveau Glass.” Most of the Kraliks pieces were not signed. Some were marked with paper labels. Excellent Condition 12” Diameter x 5” High.
