French Cameo Glass Covered Box. 1900. Signed DeVez.

Emile Galle cameo glass bowl, of boat form, decorated with a raised ground of flowers Hydrangea in tones of purple color  on a gray background, signed. C.A 1900's Very good condition no chips or cracks. Size 10 3/4" l x 3 1/2# w x 4 1/4" h French designer Emile Gallé is considered to be one of the driving forces behind the Art Nouveau movement. His naturalistic designs combined with innovative techniques made him one of the pioneering glass makers of the late 19th, early 20th century. Taking his inspiration from nature and plants along with a heavy Japanese design influence, it is no wonder the French have been known to describe his work as “poetry in glass.” He developed a technique for the production of cut and incised flashed glass and enameled designs, enhanced by bright colors and transparency of the material.

Moser Art Deco dresser set consisted of four items in Amethyst color very unusual shape .

1. Tray  rectangular - 9"W x 3 1/4" D x 1"H - excellent condition.
2. Atomizer fan shape with chrome top -3 5/8" W x 1 5/8" D x 5 1/8" H - excellent condition missing pump.
3. Perfume/cologne bottle fan chape with original stopper - bottle 3 5/8 W x 1 5/8" D x 4 1/4" H excellent condition, stopper 3 1/4" W x 1 3/4" D x 2 1/4" H Very good condition minute flea bite on the top of the stopper. Hight with the stopper 5 3/4"
4. Powder box with lid - Box 4 1/2" W x 3 1/8" D x 1 1/4" H excellent condition, cover top 4" W x 2 3/4" D x 5/8" h excellent condition.  Total Hight 2 1/8"
