Antiques 18th century ellipse shaped brown tortoise shell Tea Caddie with hinged lid. Decorated with a center medallion painting on the ostrich shell portrait of a Mary Queen of Scots. The hinged lid's interior is lined with green cloth, lock with a key. Origin England or Scottland. Measurements are: 6 1/4" w x 3 1/4""d x 5" H.
Mary Queen of Scots also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scottland from December 1542 to 24July 1567. Mary the only surviving legitimate child od King James V, was six day old when her father died and she acceded to the throne.

Antiques 19th century Georgian tortoise shell veneer tea caddy shaped of a square form with cantered corners .Front and top of the caddy decorated with inlayed mother of pearl flowers and leafage's. The interior has two compartments with tortoise shell veneered lids and ivory knob handles. The tea caddy is in the very good original condition with a working lock and original key.

Antique Imperial Russia Papier Mache Tea Caddy Box “Troika“ Lid Lacquer Painting, B.L. Vishnikov 19th Century
Antique Imperial Russia hand-painted and lacquered Papier Mache Tea Caddy/Box dating to the late 19th century. The caddy is rectangular, its lid has an intricately painted image of a "troika," horses pulling a sled with young horsemen and his family galloping through a snowy winter scene. The interior of the lid has a red lacquered maker’s mark written in Cyrillic - B.L. Vishnikov and also six honorary medals. The caddy's black lacquer interior has two compartments covered with lids. One is 2 ¾” wide for green tea and another is 3 ¾” wide for black tea. Overall is in very good condition for its age. Measures 7 ½” L x 4 7/8”D x 4 5/8”H.
Antique Regency Blond Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy. England 1840’s
An antique English Regency Blond Tortoiseshell tea caddy that dates to the 1840s. Its top is decorated with sterling silver strings and a brass knob. The interior is fitted with two lidded compartments and it has the original working lock with a sterling silver escutcheon. There is no key. The caddy has its original brass figural tea caddy spoon to scoop tea marked R.N. 549897. The tea caddy is in excellent condition and is an exceptionally fine example. Size 7" W x 4" D x 5" H

Antique English Tea Caddy rosewood three-dimensional inlaid parquetry top is a selection of a wonderful specimen woods.
Surrounded by a Tunbridge ware mosaic border and a beautiful floral Tunbridge ware design around the front sides and back. The interior with two lidded tea compartments.
England 1930's. Very good condition for its age.
