Antiques 19th century Georgian tortoise shell veneer tea caddy shaped of a square form with cantered corners .Front and top of the caddy decorated with inlayed mother of pearl  flowers and leafage’s. The interior has two compartments with tortoise shell veneered lids and ivory knob handles. The tea caddy is in the very good original condition with a working lock and original key.

It is : 7 1?4″ W x 4 1/4″ D x 4 3/4″ H

Description

Antiques 19th century Georgian tortoise shell veneer tea caddy’s, top chamfered with a sarcophagus rectangular square form . Front of the caddy decorated with inlayed mother of pearl  flowers and leafage’s and sterling silver escutcheon. The interior is  fitted  with ivory borders and has two compartments with tortoise shell veneered lids and MOP knob handles. The tea caddy stands on original ivory ball feet. Tea caddy  is in a very good original condition with a working lock and original key.

It is : 7 1/4″ W x 4 1/4″ D x 5 1/4″ H

The hinged lid's interior is lined with green cloth, lock with a key. Origin England or Scottland.  Measurements are: 6 1/4" w x 3 1/4""d x 5" H. Mary Queen of Scots also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scottland from December 1542 to 24July 1567. An antique 19th century French gold leaf gilt mirror. The mirror has an elaborate crest, and upper rounded corners typical of Louis Philippe mirrors. The frame is enriched with a beautiful ornate crest built on a central open C - cartouche motif flanked by acanthus and flowers and cross flame torches. A delicate pearl beading surrounds the original mirror glass. All in original condition, the gold leaf gilding is in almost perfect mint condition. The mirror also has its original silver nitrate silvered mirror glass and pine back cladding.

The mirror is in very good condition with no structural or exterior damages, ready to be hung on the wall.

Dimensions overall: 61” H 40” W x 2” D, Glass mirror inside 46” H x 31” W
