19th Century antique French Hand carved Buffet, sideboard, server, chiffonier constructed in the best tradition of the Renaissance/Henry II style. Three upper shelves with elaborate crown are connected to the bottom cabinet with one long pull out drawer above two doors which enclose the shelves fitted interior. The entire cabinet is decorated with hand carved fruit, foliage, branches and mystical figures. At the bottom, the opening between the shelves is 16”, the opening above that is 12”.

Antique Chinese / Oriental Rosewood Marble Top Plant Stand, 19th C.

A lovely antique 19th century tall Chinese / Oriental rosewood marble top plant stand. The stand is in excellent original condition with pink marble top insert. Carving details are superbly handled. The apron has carved reticulated floral motif with a bead-work border on top. There is quarter panel banding around the marble insert, and high relief floral carving on the legs and cross stretcher. Planter is in exceptionally good condition for its age. Size: 20” Dia x 33”H top 16” Dia.

Antique walnut display cabinet with a single bow-front glass door sitting on shaped Queen Anne style legs. The single door opens to reveal three interior glass shelves each ¼” thick. There is an additional cabinet storage space below the bottom shelf. The display is enhanced with a mirror back and light. The cabinet has its original lock and key which function properly. This display cabinet is in exceptionally good condition for its age.

Antique Display Credenza Buffet Cabinet, Walnut, England, C. A. 1850’s

An antique mid 19th century English walnut credenza / buffet cabinet with a molded top above satinwood inlaid decoration. The cabinet's inlay runs horizontally just below the top, in the shape of medallion and scroll between thin bands. More inlay frames the doors. These are three curved d-shaped glass doors, decorated with Dore bronze ormolu mounts, and fitted shelve interior. Circa 1850s. Condition is particularly good for its age, structurally sound with no damage to the glass, all original hardware. Inside cloth lining is not original and is in very good condition - no tears or staining. Size: 57” L x 14” D x 41” H

Antique Ebonized Library Armchair, Directoire Style, France 1860’s.

Antique Ebonized library armchair in French Directoire style with upholstered back and seat cushions in a neutral color with large pattern chenille fabric. The armrests are partially upholstered in the same fabric. The chair has four turned legs connected by an X-shaped stretcher with the four original porcelain casters.


Chair is in very good condition and very sturdy for its age. It was recently reupholstered.

Antique French Boulle Louis XV Style Napoleon III Secretary Desk, 19th Century

19th Century Napoleon III period French Louis XV style, Boulle style secretary desk cabinet. The secretary has opulent brass marquetry on a background of red tortoiseshell with gilt bronze ornaments. Upper portion of the  cabinet have three drawers and center door with fitted shelve interior, each side has three graduated open shelves. There is a single open shelve above the door decorated with a pierced bronze gallery. The cabinet's bottom portion has a central drawer and a sliding writing top covered with green felt. The drawer is decorated in the same style as the cabinet's upper portion. It stands on and is flanked by S- shaped cabriole legs executed with bronze sabot feet. The cabinet is in excellent general condition. It had some restoration by antique renovation specialists, and is structurally sound. Antique French Display Cabinet 19th Century Circa 1880

Antique 19th century walnut vitrine, enclosing three adjustable shelves that are flanked by glass sides and have mirror back interior behind a glass door. Constructed and designed in Renaissance Revival style or Henry II, decorated with turned and twisted column, with hand carved decoration of mystical creatures with Satyr and hybrid lion features. The cabinet's crown is pierced and has finials, its back is inlaid with satin wood of ornamental design. The entire cabinet stands on four turned feet. This fine vitrine is in exceptional original condition throughout, ready to place at home, circa 1880.

Antique French Empire Writing Desk, Amboyna Burl Wood, 19th Century

We are offering for sale a very fine antique French gilt bronze mounted mahogany Empire bureau plat, early 19th Century. The desk has a rectangular top with two pull out trays, one on each side. Its top is covered by a burgundy gold-tooled inset leather writing surface and a very decorative gilt bronze border. The front frieze has a large central drawer flanked by pairs of side drawers with shaped corner brackets on each side where desk meets legs. The desk features finely cast ormolu mounts in the Classic Empire style including escutcheons and laurel wreaths, and has brass knobs. The desk is raised on four square section tapered legs that stand on square brass sabots with brass casters. Entire table veneer is exotic amboyna Burl wood and rosewood circles parquetry. Desk is in a particularly good condition for its age. Size: 55 ½” L x 32” W x 32” H. Opening to the knee 23” H. Each pull out outs trays 26” L x 23” W
