Antiques Pair of Armchairs Spanish Colonial Spain 19th/20th Century


Pair (2) of antique Spanish Armchairs in Spanish Colonial style intricately hand carved in black walnut wood paired with a tooled leather seat. Each chair is decorated with carved back, carved scroll open arms and turned legs connected with I-stretchers.

Chairs are in particularly good sturdy condition, with some damage and old repair to embossed leather seats.

Art Deco Sideboard / Buffet Walnut and Amboyna Wood, Marble Top, France C.A. 1920’s

We are offering an antique circa 1920s French Art Deco sideboard / buffet made with walnut and amboyna wood veneer. Its cabinet doors have nickel hardware. The sideboard has a green Italian marble top. Its style is modern linear geometric design, with four cabinet doors behind which are interior adjustable shelves. There is a long drawer in the sideboard's center below the marble. Each cabinet door is decorated with a central medallion of floral marquetry and mother of pearl inlay. The entire structure is supported by four front ball feet and two strait feet in the back. Condition: is very sturdy, no damages or replacements, original hardware, keys and locks. Bench Stool Louis XV Style Carved Painted. Italy 1900’s

Louis XV style carved painted upholstered Italian bench. The stool is painted cream white color and accented with gold. It is decorated with hand-carved scrolled acanthus knees, snail feet, foliage, and cartouche medallions. Italy, circa 1900. The Bench is very sturdy for its age, with some losses and crackling to the paint.

Bonheur Du Jour Ormolu and Sevres Style Porcelain-Mounted Amboyna and Ebony Napoleon III 19th Century. France


An antique 19th century French Napoleon III Bonheur du jour, or type of lady's writing desk. It is ornately designed with emboyna and ebony and decorated with Sevres style porcelain. Its architectural galleried upper section has a central mirrored niche flanked by Corinthian columns. The upper section also has a pair of cupboard doors decorated with a ribbon-tied porcelain plaque with painted depictions of Marie Antoinette and Mme Elisabeth in their centers. Cupboards open to a single shelf, and a leather writing surface sits over a rectangular case. Below are smaller drawers decorated with a porcelain-inset guilloche frieze. This frieze has a larger porcelain inset in its center front. Below these smaller drawers in the lower section are two large shelves framed by tapering fluted legs. The columnar legs have a porcelain plaque in their middle. The shelves have a mirrored back and shaped under tier with four short feet.

A set of six (6) Portuguese / Spanish Colonial style dining side chairs. Each chair features a nicely decorated back with shell centered rocaille at top rail, above a pierced splat back. Front knees are emphasized with elaborately curled acanthus leaves, with legs tapering down and terminating into a slipper foot. The chairs are constructed out of black walnut and have a rush seat. Chairs remain in exceptionally good condition, no structural damage they are ready to go around the table.

Henry II Walnut Server Marble Top. France.1900’s. Renaissance. Sideboard. Antique.

Antique 19th Century Henry II Style French Walnut Server with Marble Top. The bottom portion of the Server constructed out of walnut with a marble top, two pull out drawers and two open  bottom shelves connected to turned front columns. The top portion of the server has a broken pediment crown decorated with finial above a single narrow shelve. Each of the shelves (2) is supported on each side by heavy turned architectural style columns. Two pull out drawers are with original locks and key. The server's top rear panel has lovely carving. Louis Philippe Semainier Chest Of Seven Drawers. Antique. France. c.1870’s

Antique 19th century French tall Louis Philippe style semainier chest of seven drawers c.1870. The chest's mahogany top has a molded and crossbanded edge over a shallow top drawer and six slightly graduated deeper drawers with beautifully figured and symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneered fronts. The chest has brass escutcheons, solid mahogany sides, and bun feet. It has excellent color and is in good condition.

Louis XV Style sideboard 9’ 3” long, Walnut, Italy C.A 1930’s

An early 20th. century Louis XV style Sideboard carved  in best tradition of Italian craftsmen. The sideboard is constructed out of walnut and walnut veneer. It is decorated with hand carved shells and applied scrolls. The carved front legs have a snail form foot. The four front doors enclose a fitted shelf interior and the right side door is fitted with pull out drawers. The piece's shape has a slight serpentine bow front, its top has a detachable back splash decorated with a hand carved pierced cartouche. It is 12” High in the middle. Sideboard is in exceptionally good condition for its age. The top was professionally restored to original condition. Size: 9’3” L x 24” D x 38” h – Back is 50” H. with back splash.

Louis XVI Style Gilt Wood Sofa Settee French 19th Century

A French antique 19th century Louis XVI Style gilt wood sofa settee. The settee seat is raised by six turned legs below a straight frieze decorated band which extends along the sides and back of the seat. Above each of the corner legs are richly chased block rosettes with additional decorative geometric patterns extending up the beautiful gilt wood support which reach up to the sofa's arms, and which are also finished on the inside. The sofa's seat support is centered at the back by an exceptional richly carved bow and ribbons. Sofa Settee is structurally sound, upholstery is in good condition with no tears or holes. Marquetry Inlaid Gilt-Bronze Ormolu Mounted Marble Top Cabinet. France C. A. 1920’s

Antique - Vintage  circa 1920s French Louis XV / XVI style marquetry cabinet  with a marble top. The front door as well as each side decorated with a  beautiful floral marquetry inlays. The front of the cabinet decorated with turned columns, gilt bronze mounts in many shapes cover the cabinet. Most striking are the classical heads. There are bronze geometric patterns on the cabinet door and an elaborate bronze frieze runs across the cabinet. Bronze foliage scrolls add to the cabinet's beauty, and bronze capitals decorate it columns. The cabinet's top is a deep green marble with black and white grains. it's sit above a single pullout drawer and a single door opened to a fitted single shelve interior. The entire cabinet seats on four turned feet decorated with Ormolu mounts in the shape of a plaque. The cabinet is structurally sound and in very good original condition - no losses to the marquetry or ormolu. It has its original shaped marble top without any chips or cracks.
