A set of six (6) Portuguese / Spanish Colonial style dining side chairs. Each chair features a nicely decorated back with shell centered rocaille at top rail, above a pierced splat back. Front knees are emphasized with elaborately curled acanthus leaves, with legs tapering down and terminating into a slipper foot. The chairs are constructed out of black walnut and have a rush seat. Chairs remain in exceptionally good condition, no structural damage they are ready to go around the table.

Description

A set of six (6) Portuguese / Spanish Colonial style dining side chairs. Each chair features a nicely decorated back with shell centered rocaille at top rail, above a pierced splat back. 19th Century Napoleon III period French Louis XV style, Boulle style secretary desk cabinet. The secretary has opulent brass marquetry on a background of red tortoiseshell with gilt bronze ornaments. Upper portion of the  cabinet have three drawers and center door with fitted shelve interior, each side has three graduated open shelves. There is a single open shelve above the door decorated with a pierced bronze gallery. The cabinet's bottom portion has a central drawer and a sliding writing top covered with green felt. The drawer is decorated in the same style as the cabinet's upper portion. It stands on and is flanked by S- shaped cabriole legs executed with bronze sabot feet. The cabinet is in excellent general condition. It had some restoration by antique renovation specialists, and is structurally sound. An antique mid 19th century English walnut credenza / buffet cabinet with a molded top above satinwood inlaid decoration. The cabinet's inlay runs horizontally just below the top, in the shape of medallion and scroll between thin bands. More inlay frames the doors. These are three curved d-shaped glass doors, decorated with Dore bronze ormolu mounts, and fitted shelve interior. Circa 1850s. Condition is particularly good for its age, structurally sound with no damage to the glass, all original hardware. Inside cloth lining is not original and is in very good condition - no tears or staining. Size: 57” L x 14” D x 41” H

Chair is in very good condition and very sturdy for its age. It was recently reupholstered.

Antique 19th Century Henry II Style French Walnut Server with Marble Top. The bottom portion of the Server constructed out of walnut with a marble top, two pull out drawers and two open  bottom shelves connected to turned front columns. The top portion of the server has a broken pediment crown decorated with finial above a single narrow shelve. Each of the shelves (2) is supported on each side by heavy turned architectural style columns. Two pull out drawers are with original locks and key. The server's top rear panel has lovely carving. Condition – Very good, no missing or replaced parts, hardware, marble no cracks or chips. Size: HEIGHT 70" (178 cm) WIDTH 49" (124 cm) DEPTH 20" (51 cm)
