The armrests are partially upholstered in the same fabric. The chair has four turned legs connected by an X-shaped stretcher with the four original porcelain casters.

Condition:

Chair is in very good condition and very sturdy for its age. It was recently reupholstered.

Condition is particularly good for its age, structurally sound with no damage to the glass, all original hardware. Front knees are emphasized with elaborately curled acanthus leaves, with legs tapering down and terminating into a slipper foot. The chairs are constructed out of black walnut and have a rush seat. Chairs remain in exceptionally good condition, no structural damage they are ready to go around the table.

The bottom portion of the Server constructed out of walnut with a marble top, two pull out drawers and two open  bottom shelves connected to turned front columns. The top portion of the server has a broken pediment crown decorated with finial above a single narrow shelve. Each of the shelves (2) is supported on each side by heavy turned architectural style columns. Two pull out drawers are with original locks and key. The server's top rear panel has lovely carving. THIS ITEM IS SOLD A French antique 19th century Louis XVI Style gilt wood sofa settee. The settee seat is raised by six turned legs below a straight frieze decorated band which extends along the sides and back of the seat. Above each of the corner legs are richly chased block rosettes with additional decorative geometric patterns extending up the beautiful gilt wood support which reach up to the sofa's arms, and which are also finished on the inside. The sofa's seat support is centered at the back by an exceptional richly carved bow and ribbons. Sofa Settee is structurally sound, upholstery is in good condition with no tears or holes.
