An antique mid 19th century English walnut credenza / buffet cabinet with a molded top above satinwood inlaid decoration. The cabinet’s inlay runs horizontally just below the top, in the shape of medallion and scroll between thin bands. More inlay frames the doors. These are three curved d-shaped glass doors, decorated with Dore bronze ormolu mounts, and fitted shelve interior. Circa 1850s.
Condition is particularly good for its age, structurally sound with no damage to the glass, all original hardware. Inside cloth lining is not original and is in very good condition – no tears or staining.
