Antiques Louis XVI style dining chairs, set of 6. Constructed from European walnut every one is hand carved by the master carver, all carved legs connected by the “H” stretcher on bottom for long lasting stability. They have been recently reupholstered with a beautiful diamond pattern fabric with tones of light and dark teal colors. Measurements: 17 ½”W x 17”D x 37”h; Seat is 17’W x 15 ½”D x 29”h. Chairs are structurally sound and in very good condition. France, late 19th century.

Has beautifully marquetry floral medallion on each door; lift up top revealing mirrored tray compartments; fitted mirror “D” interior shelf; elegant ormolu mounts. Contracted out of walnut decorated with kingwood veneer. Measurements: 41 ¾”L x 39 ½”W x 34 ½”h; top left compartment 30 ½”L x 17 ¼”D x 3”h; top right compartment 15 ¼”L x 17 ¼”D x 2 ½”h; Left inside opening shelf 25”L x 15 ¾”D x 17 ½”h. Meissen porcelain. A hand painted 20th century Meissen porcelain figurine of a boy wearing a hat. The boy stands on a short base and leans against a tree stump. He holds his hands to his mouth, as if blowing. His pink waist sash, striped pants and polished shoes indicate he possibly represents a theatrical figure or musician, or folklore or mythological subject. Meissen Porcelain Germany. Manufacturer’s mark on the bottom cross swords, in red 21, underglaze 12.

MONT JOYE BY LEGRASS FRENCH EMERALD GREEN CAMEO ART GLASS VASE. C.A.1900’s
A early 20th century Mont Joye (Legras & Cie) French Art Nouveau period. Emerald green glass chipped glass textured body cameo cut gilded and silvered in pillow form shape, the crizzled body with two shades gold gilt and silver stylized acorn and oak leaf border to the shoulder, the base with gilt factory mark.
Gold hallmark on bottom - Mont Joye, L & C. circa 1900's
Condition: No chips, cracks or breaks. Shelf wear to the base.

Production Notes: Designed by Legras & Cie in St. Denis (today part of Paris) in about 1900 - 1910. The firm's glass was marked either "Legras", "L & Cie", "Sargel" (Legras backwards:", "Leg", (enameled) or "Mont Joye & Cie". After WWI, the firm merged with Pantin glass works to form Verreries et Christalleries de St. Denis et Pantin RTunies, but continued to use "Legras" Signature on some enameled or acid etched vases during 1920s & 30s. Condition: No chips, cracks or breaks. Shelf wear to the base.
During the first decade of the 1900s Legras & Cie became a major exponent of the École de Nancy (School of Nancy) led by Gallé. The firm produced a wide variety of commercial art-glass, both cameo and painted in enamels, but also made some large high-quality pieces for international exhibitions.

Pair of 19th century French Louis XV style elaborately carved walnut settees, constructed out of European walnut and recently upholstered in light cream color satin fabric. Pair are dates to 1870s, attributed to Parisian school. Settees are standing on foliate-carved cabriole legs, entire frame is hand carved in floral and foliate design , top decorated with with a shell motif a favorite aristocrats - Parisian style of the 19th century. The backs of settees divided into three upholstered sections. The are in excellent condition and recently reupholstered.

It is designed with foliage, sunburst, mystical creatures all carved by experienced master carvers. Behind the doors is a fitted shelf interior. Pair is in very good condition for its age.
