A lovely antique 19th century Biedermeier period drop leaf walnut table of German, Austrian or Scandinavian origin. The table top is connected to the round pedestal that is attached to the shaped rectangular base which is supported by four short legs ending in animal claws or hooves. The table’s surface has large rectangular parquetry design and inlaid ebony trim around its edge, the table’s skirt is decorated with an inlaid fan design. There are some crevices in the wood that are appropriate with age, this table is in very good condition for its age and it is structurally sound. Probably German. A lovely antique 19th century tall Chinese / Oriental rosewood marble top plant stand. The stand is in excellent original condition with pink marble top insert. Carving details are superbly handled. The apron has carved reticulated floral motif with a bead-work border on top. There is quarter panel banding around the marble insert, and high relief floral carving on the legs and cross stretcher. Planter is in exceptionally good condition for its age. Size: 20” Dia x 33”H top 16” Dia.

19th Century Napoleon III period French Louis XV style, Boulle style secretary desk cabinet. The secretary has opulent brass marquetry on a background of red tortoiseshell with gilt bronze ornaments. Upper portion of the  cabinet have three drawers and center door with fitted shelve interior, each side has three graduated open shelves. There is a single open shelve above the door decorated with a pierced bronze gallery. The cabinet's bottom portion has a central drawer and a sliding writing top covered with green felt. The drawer is decorated in the same style as the cabinet's upper portion. It stands on and is flanked by S- shaped cabriole legs executed with bronze sabot feet. The cabinet is in excellent general condition. It had some restoration by antique renovation specialists, and is structurally sound. Antique Louis XVI style dinning, library table.  It is constructed out of solid European walnut wood. The top of the table has a decorated three dimensional parquet with ebony wood strips. Table top is supported by pedestal with 4 fluted, tapered column legs raised by topic shaped supports. The columns are decorated by scrolled capital and foliage. The legs are joined by an “H” stretcher with a mottled border and 4 fluted columns in middle of stretcher; this creates 4 open arch design. Table top has pull out support at each end for extension leaves. Measurements: 57”L x 40”W x 29”h; opening to apron 24”; each pull out extension leaves are 32”L; table with full extensions is 120”L. An antique near square Dutch 19th century center table. The tabletop is decorated with Amboina wood veneer and walnut scalloped edge. The top of the table seats on a square walnut base with four turned column legs connected with wide pleaded aprons at a top, the entire base connected with X-Stretcher at a bottom and attached to the four turned bulbous feet. Table is in very good condition for its age, structurally sound. It is 45 ¼” w x 44 ¼” d x 30”h and 23” h to the apron.

Bonheur Du Jour Ormolu and Sevres Style Porcelain-Mounted Amboyna and Ebony Napoleon III 19th Century. France

An antique 19th century French Napoleon III Bonheur du jour, or type of lady's writing desk. It is ornately designed with emboyna and ebony and decorated with Sevres style porcelain. Its architectural galleried upper section has a central mirrored niche flanked by Corinthian columns. The upper section also has a pair of cupboard doors decorated with a ribbon-tied porcelain plaque with painted depictions of Marie Antoinette and Mme Elisabeth in their centers. Cupboards open to a single shelf, and a leather writing surface sits over a rectangular case. Below are smaller drawers decorated with a porcelain-inset guilloche frieze. This frieze has a larger porcelain inset in its center front. Below these smaller drawers in the lower section are two large shelves framed by tapering fluted legs. The columnar legs have a porcelain plaque in their middle. The shelves have a mirrored back and shaped under tier with four short feet.
