A Pair of Antique 19th century Sterling Silver Dutch napkin rings with Repousse design of a harbor scene. Included in the napkin rings’ designs are boats on the water holding people, windmills and small houses, and horsemen on the shore, with trees, and birds in the sky. The napkin rings have lovely beaded rims.
The napkin rings also have an elaborate cartouche bearing an owner’s initials: AR and CR, each initial is an unusually large size and surrounded by scroll. Unusually heavy silver weight for a napkin ring.
Each ring is stamped with the makers mark in oval VS.
