Antique 19th century French tall Louis Philippe style semainier chest of seven drawers c.1870. The chest's mahogany top has a molded and crossbanded edge over a shallow top drawer and six slightly graduated deeper drawers with beautifully figured and symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneered fronts. The chest has brass escutcheons, solid mahogany sides, and bun feet. It has excellent color and is in good condition.

An early 20th. century Louis XV style Sideboard carved in best tradition of Italian craftsmen. The sideboard is constructed out of walnut and walnut veneer. It is decorated with hand carved shells and applied scrolls. The carved front legs have a snail form foot. The four front doors enclose a fitted shelf interior and the right side door is fitted with pull out drawers. The piece's shape has a slight serpentine bow front, its top has a detachable back splash decorated with a hand carved pierced cartouche. It is 12” High in the middle.
Sideboard is in exceptionally good condition for its age. The top was professionally restored to original condition.
Size: 9’3” L x 24” D x 38” h – Back is 50” H. with back splash.

Oversize Louis XV open-arm chair, constructed from European walnut wood. It has been reupholstered with fleur-de-lis and gold diamond pattern fabric. The arms and legs have been intricately carved true entire frame, cabriole legs connected by a X-stretcher.

A French antique 19th century Louis XVI Style gilt wood sofa settee. The settee seat is raised by six turned legs below a straight frieze decorated band which extends along the sides and back of the seat. Above each of the corner legs are richly chased block rosettes with additional decorative geometric patterns extending up the beautiful gilt wood support which reach up to the sofa's arms, and which are also finished on the inside. The sofa's seat support is centered at the back by an exceptional richly carved bow and ribbons.
Sofa Settee is structurally sound, upholstery is in good condition with no tears or holes.

Meissen porcelain. A hand painted 20th century Meissen porcelain figurine of a boy wearing a hat. The boy stands on a short base and leans against a tree stump. He holds his hands to his mouth, as if blowing. His pink waist sash, striped pants and polished shoes indicate he possibly represents a theatrical figure or musician, or folklore or mythological subject. Meissen Porcelain Germany. Manufacturer’s mark on the bottom cross swords, in red 21, underglaze 12.

MONT JOYE BY LEGRASS FRENCH EMERALD GREEN CAMEO ART GLASS VASE. C.A.1900’s
A early 20th century Mont Joye (Legras & Cie) French Art Nouveau period. Emerald green glass chipped glass textured body cameo cut gilded and silvered in pillow form shape, the crizzled body with two shades gold gilt and silver stylized acorn and oak leaf border to the shoulder, the base with gilt factory mark.
Gold hallmark on bottom - Mont Joye, L & C. circa 1900's
Condition: No chips, cracks or breaks. Shelf wear to the base.

Production Notes: Designed by Legras & Cie in St. Denis (today part of Paris) in about 1900 - 1910. The firm's glass was marked either "Legras", "L & Cie", "Sargel" (Legras backwards:", "Leg", (enameled) or "Mont Joye & Cie". After WWI, the firm merged with Pantin glass works to form Verreries et Christalleries de St. Denis et Pantin RTunies, but continued to use "Legras" Signature on some enameled or acid etched vases during 1920s & 30s. Condition: No chips, cracks or breaks. Shelf wear to the base.
During the first decade of the 1900s Legras & Cie became a major exponent of the École de Nancy (School of Nancy) led by Gallé. The firm produced a wide variety of commercial art-glass, both cameo and painted in enamels, but also made some large high-quality pieces for international exhibitions.
