Description

An antique 19th century English rosewood three tier whatnot / music stand with a drawer on the bottom tier. The stand has elaborate carved supports designed with scrolls, and turned finials, the single drawer base is on turned legs with casters. This is a lovely antique that dates to 1850s and it is in very good to excellent condition for its age, minute imperfections expected with its age. Size : 24″ W x 16″D x 45″ H

The armrests are partially upholstered in the same fabric. The chair has four turned legs connected by an X-shaped stretcher with the four original porcelain casters.

Chair is in very good condition and very sturdy for its age. It was recently reupholstered.

Chairs remain in exceptionally good condition, no structural damage they are ready to go around the table.

THIS ITEM IS SOLD An early 20th. century Louis XV style Sideboard carved  in best tradition of Italian craftsmen. The sideboard is constructed out of walnut and walnut veneer. It is decorated with hand carved shells and applied scrolls. The carved front legs have a snail form foot. The four front doors enclose a fitted shelf interior and the right side door is fitted with pull out drawers. The piece's shape has a slight serpentine bow front, its top has a detachable back splash decorated with a hand carved pierced cartouche. It is 12” High in the middle. Sideboard is in exceptionally good condition for its age. The top was professionally restored to original condition. Size: 9’3” L x 24” D x 38” h – Back is 50” H. with back splash.

The settee seat is raised by six turned legs below a straight frieze decorated band which extends along the sides and back of the seat. Above each of the corner legs are richly chased block rosettes with additional decorative geometric patterns extending up the beautiful gilt wood support which reach up to the sofa's arms, and which are also finished on the inside. The sofa's seat support is centered at the back by an exceptional richly carved bow and ribbons. Sofa Settee is structurally sound, upholstery is in good condition with no tears or holes.
