This is the first time that LR Antiques will be exhibitors at two shows, on the same days. As some of you know, we are members of the HADA organization and are always at the Spring HADA show. Our booth is filled with new finds from local and out of state estates: Fine Art Glass, Fine Jewelry, Period Furniture and Fine Porcelain. LR Antiques has always been diverse in our selection and keeping a good standard of quality.
When we were invited to exhibit at the 38th annual “Zonta Antique Show” in Longview, Texas we could not say “No”. LR Antiques is so fortunate to have three partners, allowing us to do both shows. Rachel Bley, will head the “HADA Antique Show”, and Larry and Lora Levin will head the “Zonta Antique Show”. Selections for both shows were made and we will assure you that you won’t be disappointed! “St. Wolfgang” of Regensburg. Oil on Canvas. German school. 19th Century
A 19th Century oil painting on canvas depicting a saint. Saint Wolfgang wears robes and has a halo. He is holding a model of a church in one hand and an axe in the other. There is a church in the distant mountainous background. The halo on this figure’s head indicates he was canonized, symbolizes saintly status. The figure’s hat is that of a Bishop or Cardinal. The axe refers to an incident in the life of the saint. After having selected a solitary spot in the wilderness, he prayed and then threw the axe into the ticket; the spot on which the axe fell he regarded as the place where GOD intended he should build his church. The axe is still shown in the little market town of St. Wolfgang which sprang up on the spot of the old church.

1870’s Antique French Sevres Porcelain Ormolu Clock
Antique French ormolu, gilt bronze, mantel clock with a profusion of Royal Blue porcelain panels in the Sevres manner, circa 1870's .Stamped on the back of the clock Medale de Bronze La Marte and serial # 3083 6
the clock has beautiful, hand painted porcelain plaques inset in the sides and decorated with floral motifs. The plaque in the center depicts a young lady and a young gentlemen dressed in a period costume.
18th Century Tortoise Shell Tea Caddie With A portrait of Mary. Queen of Scots.
Antiques 18th century ellipse shaped brown tortoise shell Tea Caddie with hinged lid. Decorated with a center medallion painting on the ostrich shell portrait of a Mary Queen of Scots. The hinged lid's interior is lined with green cloth, lock with a key. Origin England or Scottland. Measurements are: 6 1/4" w x 3 1/4""d x 5" H.
Mary Queen of Scots also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scottland from December 1542 to 24July 1567. Mary the only surviving legitimate child od King James V, was six day old when her father died and she acceded to the throne.

Antique 19th Century Lithograph of the River Seine at the Pont de Solferina. The name of the French architectural draftsman Augustus Charles Pugin (1762-1832) is noted on the back of the print. Perhaps this is a drawing by Pugin which was reproduced in an edition of colored lithographs. This print is from the book by H. Charpentier titled "Paris Dans Sa Splendour," ca. 1861. We believe this lithograph was printed by Henri Charpentier who worked in Paris in the 19th Century. The name of Phillippe Benoist also appears on the lithograph. It is also inscribed Nantes lith edition Paris, Quai des Augustin 55. Pont de Solferina is a footbridge to take pedestrians across the Seine, from and to the right and left bank. The image shows working boats and figures on and near the river. European. Print and frame are in the very good condition ; Frame Size : 21" W x 2" D x 25" H, Printed Image measure 9 ¾" H x 14 ¾" W
19th C. Pair of Napkin Rings, Dutch, Sterling Silver, Repousse
A Pair of Antique 19th century Sterling Silver Dutch napkin rings with Repousse design of a harbor scene. Included in the napkin rings' designs are boats on the water holding people, windmills and small houses, and horsemen on the shore, with trees, and birds in the sky. The napkin rings have lovely beaded rims.
The napkin rings also have an elaborate cartouche bearing an owner’s initials: AR and CR, each initial is an unusually large size and surrounded by scroll. Unusually heavy silver weight for a napkin ring.
Each ring is stamped with the makers mark in oval VS.

19th Century Antique French GIEN Faience Bowl, FRANCE 1876
19th Century Antique French Gien Faience Bowl. This large Gien bowl is decorated with fantastic animals, grotesques and cartouches in shades of blue and brown on white. Designs such as this, inspired by the Italian Renaissance, formed a large part of the Gien production in the mid to late 19th century, mark dates to circa 1876. Bowl is in the very good condition for its age no cracks only one minor bruise to the inside rim .

19th Century Biedermeier Period Drop Leaf Walnut Table
A lovely antique 19th century Biedermeier period drop leaf walnut table of German, Austrian or Scandinavian origin. The table top is connected to the round pedestal that is attached to the shaped rectangular base which is supported by four short legs ending in animal claws or hooves. The table’s surface has large rectangular parquetry design and inlaid ebony trim around its edge, the table’s skirt is decorated with an inlaid fan design. There are some crevices in the wood that are appropriate with age, this table is in very good condition for its age and it is structurally sound. Probably German. Early 19th century

This Antique 19th century French Louis XVI style Canape Settee has been hand-crafted from fine French oak in the classical style with hand-carved garlands of flowers and carved scrolled detail on its frame supported by graceful tapered and ridged legs. It is upholstered in a floral tapestry type fabric.
It is : 51" L x 25" D x 45" H, Seat High 17" , Arm High 26".
Antique 19th C. French Walnut Cabinet / Night Stand Napoleon III period.
Antique 19th century French walnut cabinet / night stand with white marble top, above a single pull out drawer and door which encloses a fitted marble interior. The open bottom shelve and all panels are decorated with book match veneer in diamond pattern. All of the decorative moldings and ridged turned columns are decorated with dore bronze ormolu. Two columns on each side add to the cabinet's classical beauty.
Antique 19th Century English Chippendale Mahogany Armchair.
Antique 19th century English Chippendale style armchair made in finely carved mahogany. The chair's back has a shaped top rail carved with scrolling foliate designs. This back has superbly carved open splats with carved scroll decoration. The chair's front legs are of cabriole design with superbly carved scroll decorations which extend from the top of the leg down to its ball and claw foot. The chair's back legs have splay design.The drop-in seat is a floral tapestry. The tapestry is designed with a center classical urn holding flowers, in lovely colors that are beautiful near the mahogany.
Antique 19th Century French Renaissance Revival Walnut Pedestal Stand. France
Antique 19th Century French Renaissance Revival round walnut pedestal stand. The stand's carved round base sits on three large paw feet. The pedestal’s column has a louvered ridged round bottom. The column’s top, which supports the pedestal’s surface, is decorated with elaborately carved mythological griffins, or dragon heads. This is a memorable piece, finely carved.
Condition – Excellent for its age.
